"It began with an advertisement in a shop window, there it was - 'free to a good home' - a crisp box in one hand and a blanket in the other. I'm going to collect my boy - Yinka."
It's a passion for ink and scribbles on my own skin that became my motivation to create YINKA INKS.
I spent years finding my purpose not realising that my career was at my feet this whole time - like, literally at my feet, following me around.
Yinka was there all along - 'ink' but yet I still never knew. He passed away 9 months after me taking him in. This tore me - yet in the most bizarre way - him passing was what made me do this, it made me realise HE was my push this whole time.
